URL Channels and Custom Channels

    Does anybody know what is the difference between URL channel and custom channels?
    What could be the best suitable channel to track the sites?

    If you want to track the performance of a given AdSense unit then use the custom channels.
    If you need to track just the overall website performance then use URL channels.
