I have a new client that I am doing some web development for and I noticed something odd about his site. His URL is redirecting to an IP address where his site is hosted. I want to get his hosting setup to where his URL is the true destination. Will his current setup of a 301 redirect to this IP address hurt him in the SERPs? thx
Just try to delete your temporary files and cookies and than try to search again. yes,it might be affect the ranking as u r showing other to viewers and take them on other pages. it might hurt the ranking.
