I just logged into my AdSense and todays estimated earnings were 20-30 more then I average in a day!!! I rapidly went from excitement to panick.

I quickly logged into anaytics to see a huge spike in traffic (7000+) to one particular page. I checked the source and it was mainly "direct traffic" from unique visitors. I also noticed a lot (1000+) from various email clients (yahoo, gmail, etc). I assume the page URL was added to some mailing without my concent...and who would do this anyway?

I contacted Google immediately via the online support in AdSense, but is there a direct email address that anyone knows about? Please advise!

A spike 7000+ is more than likely bot traffic. Even to be put on some mail list somewhere would not bump up your visits so high so fast..

Just keep an eye on it, fire off an email to google and if you can take the AdSense of the page that is getting hit... just for a while...

Do you know the adsense support email address? It's not bot traffic, but from emails. I will remove the adsense ASAP. Thanks.
