Hello guys, I moved my abcd.Wordpress.com to my domain name abcd.com but there is a problem. While entering my domain name, I entered just abcd.com and it redirects to http://abcd.com which is the blank Yahoo page. I had my blog on Blogger first and while re-directing I did redirect to www.abcd.com and it worked finely. Now just coz I missed WWW at the beginning, I'm having problems. Someone help me!!!!
What do you mean by blank Yahoo page ? If you have bought your domain from wordpress, e-mail them and ask for customer support. Has the DNS propagated yet?
I haven't bought my domain from wordpress, I already have a blogger on my domain. I moved all blogger posts on wordpress and now moving my wordpress to my domain. But it isn't working.
did u move abcd.Wordpress.com to my domain name abcd.com correctly...i mean correct nameservers....and others... remove all nameservers for domain & point to following nameservers * NS1.WORDPRESS.COM * NS2.WORDPRESS.COM * NS3.WORDPRESS.COM then avail the domain mapping by 10$ by following steps here http://wordpress.com/blog/2006/10/24/domain-mapping-registration/ have u done these things correctly...ok Then i think u need to wait for a day...for propagation (when a domain pts to a nameserver for 1st time it takes about 24 hrs to be usefull).... Or else u may contact their support http://wordpress.com/contact-support/ and ask or search in forum http://en.forums.wordpress.com also i may help..if i can...
