Can anybody tell me if it will cause any problem in tracking the impression and sales by CJ.com??? I think it will not. But I am not 100% sure. Please help.
yeah, why do the links have <img src="http://www.ftjcfx.com/image-2567884-10443197" width="1" height="1" border="0"/> Code (markup): included? Is there a way to hide the img, because it doesn't look good in my articles. Thanks. Cano.
that's just the tracking pixel for impressions. it's not necessary if you don't care about seeing impressions so don't even bother including it.
Important Regarding the IMG Link or Tracking Pixel For Impressions I have been wondering and it's extremely important for me to fully understand the tracking pixel for impressions component of Commission Junction.com links. I'm worried my commissions hadn't been tracking properly. Like an earlier poster, it creates a very ugle "box" via standard blog and article software that makes my articles ugly. I've been deleating the "box" created by the code while not really understanding that this might have been deleating this potentially key component of the tracking in the links provided. One advertiser (IHG Hotels) provides this somewhat ominous warning beside all link HTML codes: "You must include all the above html in your links. Any missing html, including the image source, will prevent the link from tracking properly and result in a loss of commissions. " Can anyone comment on tracking and links? What's necessary and what implicates tracking? I appreciate any insight. Thank you!
