Hi, I was wondering if someone could possibly help me?? I am sorting out a joomla website for a client and they are using a template where the navbar has no set module position. http://www.shower-save.com/Joomla_ISL/index.php I am fairly confused about how to add the menu to the horizontal orange bar. They have implemented this also on their other website: http://www.1worldsolar.co.uk/ Would appreciate if someone could help me out. Many Thanks Chris
It should be Top Menu, you can add more menu by using Menu Manager: Login to you backend, select Menu tab then chose Top Menu or other in drop down list (let check around to define which menu that contains Home, About, Information, Solar... buttons). Click on New button to create a new menu. To define its position, go to Module Manager then search for the module that in proportion to the menu's name. For example: Top Menu's position was defined by Top Menu module.
Look up the locations of the modules in your template in "template manager" under "extensions". Click on the name of the template you are using from the list of templates. Click on "preview" (its a graphic of a microscope - here's hoping you are using version 1.5.X of Joomla ) and you will be given an overview of your site and the names or numbers (and locations) of your module in Joomla. Choose this to assign the correct place for your navbar, since it seems to be in outer space somewhere...
