Do not take it. 5000 usd is WAY too much for it. Go to tdnam.com or sedo and you'll have much more options at lower prices.

Hmmm...for a domain with no traffic, that is an awful lot. And it is not even a type-in.

tell him you offer 100$ for it lol and if he doesn't want the money you'll buy other domain.

    hiringyou.org
    hiremeplease.us

    targetjob.org

and blablablah... there are tons of possibilities.

careerhunter.com is a good domain IMO, not sure about the $5k price tag. If you really want that domain, the $5k would probably only be the asking price of that owner & you could negotiate from there. Or keep on thinking of names that might fit your site but I'd suggest sticking with the .com

I don't understand people that offer to much for a domain name. Maybe if you're a big company buying trademark domain names or you're moving online and want to buy a domain name that already gets type in traffic for people that want to find you.

Sit down and think a little bit. MOST domain name purchases are done ON IMPULSE. I own a 100 domain names and all of them are .COMs. In fact I wanted to develop a website where users an give first hand experiences with drugs (RX like Aderall) and after a few tries I found "DRUGCRITIC.com" available. (It's not developed. I just threw something up so Google would index it)

I personally don't think 5K is too bad for this name, if you are going to develop it then why not..

But, I would negotiate it down!
