Hey people, just wantted your suggestions... i wantted to start a job portal ... and domain for a job portal. .. so we came to careerhunter.com but its not available ... and the boy quoted the price for this domain $5000 USD... it has no traffic no rating..... what do you people suggest should take it??
thanks for quick response... anyother susgesstion.. please give some alternate suggestions as well... for TLDs
do not take it....you can crunch some brain matter and get a good one...heck send me a PM and I will send you a domain I have for jobs/careers and sell it for alot less lol md
Do not take it. 5000 usd is WAY too much for it. Go to tdnam.com or sedo and you'll have much more options at lower prices.
tell him you offer 100$ for it lol and if he doesn't want the money you'll buy other domain. you could always get these for just 10$ [AVAILABLE domains]: jobshunter.org huntingjobs.org imhiringyou.com hiringyou.net hiringyou.org hiremeplease.us needjobs.us targetjob.net targetjob.org and blablablah... there are tons of possibilities.
SuperCareerBot.com OnlineCareerClinic.com ForJobsNow.com just a few to suit a worldwide job site. are you aiming at jobs in a country, or a specific field. let me know, that will help me to give you better suggestions
careerhunter.com is a good domain IMO, not sure about the $5k price tag. If you really want that domain, the $5k would probably only be the asking price of that owner & you could negotiate from there. Or keep on thinking of names that might fit your site but I'd suggest sticking with the .com
Never take it for 5k $ .At the present market an LLL.com only has such a market value,So dont take it or be in a TRAP!!
I don't understand people that offer to much for a domain name. Maybe if you're a big company buying trademark domain names or you're moving online and want to buy a domain name that already gets type in traffic for people that want to find you. Sit down and think a little bit. MOST domain name purchases are done ON IMPULSE. I own a 100 domain names and all of them are .COMs. In fact I wanted to develop a website where users an give first hand experiences with drugs (RX like Aderall) and after a few tries I found "DRUGCRITIC.com" available. (It's not developed. I just threw something up so Google would index it)
hey people... thanks for priceless suggestion... i will share with top-level.... and yes its not asking price... asking price was 9k ... thanks once again...
I personally don't think 5K is too bad for this name, if you are going to develop it then why not.. But, I would negotiate it down!
