Selling URGENT SALE! Two 2yo movie sites with $7,000 monthly profit history - yours for $2k!

For sale are TWO movie websites. The PRICE is for BOTH of them and unlimited FREE hosting. I'll go site-by-site:

1) WatchMoviesOnlineZz.com - a custom script website. It's auto-pilot - the script runs every now and then, collects movies with valid links, and puts them on the website. No need to update anything. Here is the traffic for this website (click to enlarge):

NOTE: This was August/September revenue. From October 13 till November 13 the sites made $547. Again I have not worked on these websites in exactly one year.

THE REASON TRAFFIC AND REVENUE WAS DECLINING is one only: neglect. I haven't been working on these websites since December 2010, which is when both the revenue and traffic started going down. Instead, I took the cash I earned and traveled around Europe, and the US (the entire US). But the traffic-getting method STILL WORKS. I ran a marketing campaign a couple of months ago to see if it works, and yes it does.

THE REASON I AM SELLING IS because I want to move to different ventures and am in need of cash ASAP. I spent all my money that I made with these two websites on college ($25,000 cash) and traveling ($15,000 cash).

What is the profit for the last 3 months and last 6 months?
Is there anything illegal on the sites?
Has anything changed that you know of with the revenue site that you've been using?
Any drop in traffic or drop in rankings that cause/ will cause a drop in revenue?

The profit for the past 3 months was $2300. For the last 6 it's ~$6000
There's nothing illegal on the sites.
That I know of, no, nothing has changed
To be honest I never cared much for SEO. I'm not sure what kind of rankings the site had before and I'm not sure of the kind of rankings it has now.

There's no need for a dedicated server. None of the movies are hosted on the website so bandwidth usage is low.

No. I'll help you get whatever CPA account you want, but the current accounts are not included.

 

since most of the traffics are referral traffic, can you tell us where these are from? Do we have to keep advertising to generate traffic?

 

Most of the traffic is indeed referral traffic. Unfortunately I can't tell you where they're from as it'd uncover my method of marketing, HOWEVER, I can tell you that I have not invested a single cent or a single minute in advertising or any kind of promotion since last December. Therefore, it is obviously not really necessary to keep advertising to generate traffic.

 

Without the traffic source info we have only your word to believe in that. Which I don't know is a very solid way to do business unfortunately.

 

Traffic source is probably one of the greatest asset of these two websites. Very few website owners give away traffic source info to the general public...

 

And very few website buyers are going to buy a website for $2,000 with no guarantee that traffic will keep going to the site.

So we are supposed to believe that you blew through the other $460,000 and are desperate for $2000?

Your own words don't seem to add up.

 

Used car salespeople can make a lot of money... doesn't mean that what they sell is any good, just means they're good salespeople.

He just told us he spent $25k on college and $10k on a trip. Then he said he's sold $500,000 in websites. Oh yeah, and he is desperate for $2k.

So, I can only conclude one of two things. (1) There is something amiss in this sale (scam of some kind) or (2) He is the world's worst investor ever. I pick option 1. Call it a hunch.

 

I've sold $500,000 in websites. That doesn't mean I made those $500,000. I was (and am) a website broker. Of that part, I probably made some $50,000.

To be honest, "the reason I am selling part" has been copied from the same thread I posted on DP a while ago. Thankfully the project I initially needed cash for has kickstarted well and I'm happy with it.

Now the REAL, updated, reason I'm looking to sell these websites is because they're collecting dust.

Seriously people you're making a big deal out of $2k? Fine, have them for $1k. First person to PM me gets them for $1k.

 

Ok something must be amiss since your willing to lose $1k just like that. Also one of the pages is having a code error on line 60 or so. And another thing is the movies really there cause to watch one you gotta do one of those annoying surveys and every site i seen with those after your done it keeps loping saying nope didnt do it even after you did. I find alot of them sites to be scams in general.
