Hello, Is there a term that groups the two?: Internet marketing services and web development (design and coding...etc.) If a firm is carrying out all of these services.. would it be titled web development services? I believe web development don't include marketing and seo services... so is there a term that groups all? Thanks!
I don’t think that there is a different term for a company that carries out both web development as well as internet marketing together. Nowadays most internet marketing companies do provide web development services for their clients.
Many companies offering Internet Marketing Services are focussed primarily on traffic, SEO etc rather than Business Development. What most companies need is Online Business Development Support - and if you know exactly what you want and have some idea about how to get it, I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for. Unfortunately many Companies do not understand all the possible ways the internet could help grow their businesses - so settle paying for services that use all sorts of names, but don't deliver anywhere close to the possible potential value. This is because very few people or service companies understand business, marketing and the internet
There is no consistent terms in this business at all. What some call "web design" others will call "web development". Some would argue that all "web development" by its nature has to include some "SEO" (onsite of cause). Many of these terms are really brackets, there are many "SEO" companies that are simply link builders and wouldnt know how to approach keyword research. Likewise some PPC marketeers wouldn't know how to create tailored landing pages. The majority of firms tend to try and be jack of all trades and offer the majority of the services that can fit under the two banners but will probably have a preference for either "build" or "market" and thus focus on those areas and use the other as secondary income.
