Shawn there seems to be a major problem with the AS Rev Sharing on the forum ... From the FAQ at the forum it says... Shawn it seems the system doesnt work properly, I noticed bacause for the first time I received a click which counted for $0.00 and I was kind of suprised and I had heard that was a sign that they beleived that you were cheating and I remembered that the only AS ad that I had clicked today or even in the last week was this Free Vbulletin ad on this thread I wrote here...I got suspicious so I went to check out the source code on the page on the first try it was ok I think it was you pub-id but I know that it chooses randomly so I refreshed ad checked and I found my pub-id and channel id in the code and you can see from the screenshot I was logged in... Shawn if it is not too much to ask could you please send a little e-mail to the adsense team explaining to them what happened, also including my pub-id and channel, as I dont want to get banned for something that was not my fault, now that I think of it maybe some of those threads were people claim they got banned for no reason actuallly held some truth Anyways could you please contact them as I have made a huge investment in a new site which will be AdSense based and I dont want anything like this on my record. Thanks, Emil
You could remove the ads temporarily until this problem is sorted out. And, BTW, i have not yet given my adsense pub-id here. Can anybody tell me how much revenue does it generates displaying ads here? Just an average number!!
Yup, just checked some of my DP posts and my ID is being used, even though I am logged in. Looks like clicking on an ad in DP could get you thrown out of AdSense!!! This needs to be sorted URGENTLY
If you had posted this in the feedback board instead of in the chat area it would of been better. Shawn doesn't waste his time in this board. PM him
It's been fixed... looks like it was an internal variable naming change for vBulletin between 3.0.x and 3.5.x
To be honest, a single click for $0.00, isn't going to matter either way to Google and certainly isn't going to cause a ban. You can email them if you really feel like it, but I (personally) wouldn't even bother. Google certainly doesn't need people telling it what's going on... they know.
