I want to sale a package (which is under a zip file), though my site, using paypal. But i can add only the paypal button on the site. But after making purchase how to come the "Thanks page" and there i want to put a button, called (Click Here to Get your Package"). When people click that button they should able to download the ZIP folder. Can you please help me out; how do this? You can PM me or contact me through Skype. many many thank you in advance X.P
You can define the return page in your paypal settings IIRC. Make that page have a link to the download but you will need a more robust solution since once one person pays for the package, all they have to do is give the URL to someone else and they can download it without paying.
Use a ready made script or you will be screwed big time. Actually it is a very easy thing to do but won't be secure. People will be able to download without payment just if they have a little code knowledge. There are many many many readymade scripts available which allow you to sell digital products. There are many free scripts also. Grab a simple one at hotscripts.com
You don't have to know PHP to set the return page. It is an option in your paypal account. aditya_sfs' advice is correct, you need a secure method of doing this. We are helping you but we aren't going to do it for you.
