URGENT - Need help moving Wordpress site!!!

    I am looking at changing the url that my current wordpress site is using.

    Have looked at the options but would like some assistance from a wordpress guru please?!?!

    If you can help then please PM me with details and experience.

    change url? Do you want to change domains or simply change the permalinks?

    Instead of giving a stranger the login to your blog, try reading the following article pulled from the WordPress Doc:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL

    It's really simple to do, but read the instructions carefully or you could get a bad result.

    Are you moving to a subdomain or folder in your site or moving completly to a new domain.
    In this case you can do this .. Manage > Export > Export Wordpress xml file
    On new domain or new install Manage > Import > wordpress xml file ..

    Make sure you save all your wp-contents/uploads folders as it will contain all your uploads and changing the urls will result in not showing up the images and other uploads.
