    You may use:

    1) Cube Cart
    2) OScommerce (Open Source)

I would prefer Magento Commerce or Prestashop; CubeCart isn't bat, but OSCommerce it's old and ugly.

If you will have multiple "stores" under one frontend, you should use Magento, it's a little bit complicated when you use it for first time, but later is really easy and effective.

I was looking at the demo's of above mentioned carts. Open cart is very impressing.
But I am a bit skeptical about the security. Are opensource carts safe to use??

My personal favorites that I tried were ...
    Virtuemart for Joomla
    Zen Cart
    osCommerce

I like Virtumart because it had a lot of potential and I was able to modify parts of the code for things I needed it to do but it was buggy.
osCommerce seemed to have the most potential but was a pain in the donkey to get installed.
Zencart was simple, stable and easy to use.

That was a year ago so maybe things have changed.
