Buying URGENT Joomla performance issues. CPU/Memory 100%

Hi there,

I am looking for joomla expert who can solve our problem. Our website has about 35-40 active visitors and site is using 100% of CPU and Memory usage. If you know you can solve it only then contact me.

One of the plugin/extension you are using might be a problem, start disabling them one by one and check.

You run it on vps or shared server?

 

Shared hosting but resources are good. Its on godaddy and using LEVEL 3 resoruces = 2GB RAM, 2 Cores processors etc.

Yes enabled.

 

Then check it with top whats causing the usage.

Could be also ddos attack.

 

Have a look at this screenshot and see the amount of usage when there is NO traffic on site.

 

SSH it and type "top". You will see what causes the issue. That the best option to inspect a website.

 

Site isn't under DDOS attack. Checked with Godadday for the same.

The server have 3 GB left on ram conntact them to change you on other server.

 

If i rename the config file to something else. Site's resources are going all 0 % usage. Thats how godaddy told me that its a problem with the script not the hosting. I have a dedicated ram of 2GB on the server based on my hosting package. Does it matter to me if server has only 3GB left ?

 

Sure its do. If you remove the config file the site wont be able to connect to database and thets why the memory usage drops.

As I can see the server loads over 9 on cpu and I think its a 4 cores system.

Can you try to install a blank joomla in a subdomain, rename the config from your main website (as godaddy told you) and check the memory if grows. Make sure to refresh the website.

Thats common problem in Joomla usually the plugins/extensions.
Try removing them one by one and i think you will get the idea which one is using such huge amount of CPU.
And then once you find, remove it and find an alternative if you can.
