wtf do you want? I just told you - buy a domain and create a new blog. Use the old one to help push traffic and link juice towards the new one.

You will lose your alexa ranking and backlinks. I am not sure if blogspot lets you do a 301 redirects to your new site. You can most likely refer users and people who link to you to your new .com though. But as Mcfox mentioned, get the new .com and keep your old blogspot. That way you get the best of both world...

Buy a .com domain and you will then have to apply a 301 redirect to maintain the Google love that you have gained in the last some time. What I mean is if you have abg.blogspot.com and you buy abc.com, then when a user searches something in google and your blogspot blog address comes in Google, if user clicks on that link, he will be re-directed to abc.com. So, you will not lose any Google juice also.. and .com will help you in people taking you seriously as a blogger also...!!

Let me know if you did not understand anything.. :)

Having a free blog at blogger.com is not a safe thing because Google can/may delete your blog anytime. You should consider switching to paid hosting with a .com / .net / .org domain.

You should do this, go on and buy hosting. Keep your old blog so you don't lose any rankings. Post to your new blog regularly and link to your new blog from your old blog. This way you keep your ranking and you can have two sites instead of one.
