I have a blogger account and have several blogs I have made for different reasons. One blog had to do with helping people find out if a partner that is cheating. Here's my BIG problem, I recently made a blog for a businessman from the same blogger account and placed his biography (personal background) in the About Us part of the blog. I didn't realize that the box was checked at the top that said to use the information on all blogs in that account. 2 weeks later, when I checked his name on Google, I could not believe it but. . on Google, page 2, I saw the results of this cheating blog with this business person's name in the description along with his other personal background information. I looked on several other pages inGoogle and the same thing was appearing . . his name and info with my other blogs. I need to get all of this removed ASAP. I have gone to Google Webmaster Tools and tried to have the blog removed. I need to have it disappear ASAP. Anyone have any ideas??? Thanks DT
Just Remove the blog or create some post or article on your blog about that you are not wrong. Just remember for the next time. Check them before doing it.
This will take too long to get all of the results in the search engines changed. I need it removed . . . yesterday. Thanks though
Your best bet might be to try to contact Google support through your GWT account. Unfortunately it might be a slow response. If you don't mind losing rankings on the cheating blog, you could try some of these things: -add a noindex, nofollow meta tag to all pages -block the entire website through the robots.txt file -redirect the whole blog somewhere else...probably not possible with blogger If you want to retain rankings for the cheating blog, try building a bunch of quality backlinks and add a bunch of new website content. That may get your pages reindexed quicker. Also resubmit your sitemap to GWT. Another strategy is to try to hide those results in Google by pushing that page down in the rankings. This takes more work as you would need to build profiles in his name on various established social networks.
I'm going to delete the cheating blog as soon as I can get this resolved so I really don't care about this or any of the other blogs in that account. I have 13 and plan on deleting them all once this has been resolved. DT
What about changing the content on the cheating blog to something innocuous and then socially bookmarking it so that it gets crawled quickly? Then the old data is overwritten with something else.
