Hello, I need urgent help with HTML. When going to the website with any browser other than IE the website displays fine, but when you go to the website in IE it is all over the place. Stuff that is suppose to be on the bottom is on the top, stuff spread from the far right to the left.... its all a mess. What do we do to fix it? Thanks!
Urge everyone to quit using the worse browser on the planet: Internet Explorer. Always has been. Always will be. Beyond that, can't help without a link.
IE is always a pain to deal with but you have to make sure you write your website to be compatible with pretty much any browser. You will probably have to change around your CSS assuming you have a stylesheet. But send a link to the site so we can help you out.
If it's IE6, I'd understand that you have big issues with IE. But IE 7 and 8 have a fair rendering engine, so unless you're using unsupported elements/properties or have a terrible code, there shouldn't be a big deal with IE. At least that's what I've always experienced.
Absolutely false. IE8 is almost 12 years behind all other browsers in modern standards and practices. The worst browser on the planet still needs all the hacks to bring it in line with every other browser.
Obviously, IE is still way behind modern and smarter browsers. What I meant, is that is not that common that you get, for example, the content in the footer or uber mega complete messed up look.
