URGENT!!! How to open Paypal Dispute after 45 days?

    Hello,

I want to open Paypal dispute against a Payment of 275$ made to a person. He said he will do the job and he did not and said he will refund and lied daily till 45 days are past and after that no reply for past 1 week. He was saying this over 2 months.

I have proofs of all emails and chat that he accepted himself that there is no result and he will refund as per the initial agreement (unofficial).

But now, he says there is no money. I opened dispute and it got closed automatically because of 45 days expiry.

I sent an email to paypal and got this reply:

They have noted this for future. Which means they accept to it. But they won't get the refund or atlest give that a try.

    So what is the solution?

Do I have to follow something like mail example here : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1877781

But I'm afraid they will limit mine with anger.

    What do you suggest?

    Please help.

    Thanks!

I believe the deadline is 60 days for paypal. Try to open up a dispute and contact PayPal support right after! Also, if you met him through a forum, give him a terrible iTrader and alert all admins and mods of the scam. In the future, pay only a percentage of the entire payment until the person completes the job. Mmkay?

No. It's 45 days here. I paid only 50%. He is from DP too. I again got a message from him saying that he has a due of 2000$ and he will refund me soon. He is saying the same for 3 months +

So want me to open dispute and then support immediately? Will that work?

You cannot open dispute after 45 days of transaction i think 45 days are more than enough for filing dispute

    Hello,

Actually it was SEO. So I had to wait for 60 days first to see the result. Then he said refund for another month.

How can I file dispute when work is going on?

    In this case, any ideas?

Also it's 45 days in our country.

File a chargeback if you paid with credit card.

No. I use paypal balance. If we do chargeback, paypal will limit account.

i had an issue where somone took me for quite a bit of money and strung me along a number of days. i tried opening a dispute after about 50 days and got the same letter. I called them and tried to get them to work with me but they pointed out it was a virtual purchase and there was nothing they could do. hopefully they will be able to work with you even though it is after 45 days. personally i think they have some latitude on a case by case basis, or so i've heard.

Yes but he's worried about having his account limited. It's moot anyways since he used PayPal funds to pay.
