I'm in need of urgent help. According to my last 2 webhosting providers (shared), my website has been under constant DDOS attacks. It was estimated the attacks were 40mbit. I'm now looking for a VPS provider and was wondering, would a VPS with WiredTree be good? Will they suspend me if the attacks continue, and will they help assist me with the attacks (since it's managed)? I was also wondering, is a 40mbit attack large or medium?
LOL! You need help for DDOS attacks 40mbit. -Last month our NL VPS (Amsterdam) get 20gbps DDOS attack. But server not down! We have 50gbps DDOS attack protect straining. Anyway.. you should change your server but make a backup first.. bcz when your account get suspended it will be difficult to recover!
40 mbs is a insignificant attack like a fruit fly nevertheless it is an annoyance for the majority of the webhosts . Decent attacks start at 100 gbs . Powerful attacks are counted in tbs .
Yes they will suspend you if your host keep getting DDOS. I recommend you find a DDOS protected server.
