Hello, Extremely sorry for the noob like behaviour but I am facing a real problem... I recently bought a hosting account on host gator and registered with my domain name www.chilean-sea-bass-recipes.com . I bought another domain the very next day from godaddy. I changed the nameservers and made sure that they point towards my dns. This is where the problem starts. If i tried accessing my domain name, or simply opening it on my browser, there was a problem in loading the page. I submitted a ticket to hostgator and was told to add the domain to my add-on domains in my cpanel, which I did. Now, all I see on the domain is two options viz. parent directory and cgi panel. Clicking on both has no effect. Please suggest as to what I should do about the entire situation and how I can make both my domains fully functional. sorry for the long post... thanks. P.S. In general, how do I add a new domain to my hosting account? thanks..
What package of HostGator do you have ? The basic package only allows 1 domain, while the second package allows unlimited add-on domains..
Yea the "Hatchling Plan" only allowes 1 domain. If you call them you might be able to upgrade. http://www.hostgator.com/shared.shtml
Just curious, did you get that domain idea from the geo domain auction? cause chileanseabassrecipes.com was sold there
