Hello, Well i am very confused here please help me out. I made some channels like naming: rolista.com funnystuff.rolista.com articles.rolista.com etc But when i go to ad layout there's ofcourse a selection option but i can not see there any channel in the list. Even these are active on other pages like when i see the reports. Second question: Yesterday i make a page: http://www.rolista.com/celebrities_without_makeup.htm which i re-direct to http://funnystuff.rolista.com/pages/celebrities_without_makeup.htm In this page the channel name i placed: rolista.com but in my http://funnystuff.rolista.com i placed the channel name for all google ads: funnystuff.rolista.com Now it shows me yesterday's revenue is just: $3.44 and impression 5527 http://www.rolista.com/images/sale/google2.jpg But when i go to deep reports and search by selecting channels here it what this shows to me: For channel rolista.com: $3.44 and impressions 5508 For channel funnystuff.rolista.com: $3.40 and impressions 5406 http://www.rolista.com/images/sale/google1.jpg Now you see if i calculate these are $6.84 and impressions 10914 right? So why google report showing me only $3.44 for yesterday's revenue? Here i am talking about 4 jan ok. Please tell me what's wrong here? Am i doing any mistake or what? Some times i know people clicking on my articles module ads but i can not see clicks in my channel report. Please help.... Thanks
I`m far away to be a AdSense expert but guess i can try one answer . So , about channels, AdSense offery you 2 ways tracking info using channels .. first , you can track stats from one wished URL and seccond cand track from what Ad layout you wish .. if you made rolista.com channel URL that will track all pages across all subdomains so include too funnystuff.rolista.com and articles.rolista.com . If you create Custom Channel in Ad layout code you will see channel made .. and were you will place that code stats will be tracked all for that custom channel . and for seccond question, rolista.com channel include too channel funnystuff.rolista.com and from what you write means corect stats are : rolista.com without stats from funnystuff.rolista.com $0.04 and impressions 102 funnystuff.rolista.com: $3.40 and impressions 5406 Hope you understand something from my answers
You are getting confused by channel cross-over. Each channel tracks income for it's given designation. When you view channels together that both count from the same site, you will be shown the combined total, which is not an accurate figure. Channel rolista.com counts all revenue from the site, rolista.com (accurate for entire domain) Channel funnystuff.rolista.com only counts the revenue from the sub-domain, funnystuff.rolista.com. (accurate for sub-domain only) The sub-domain made $3.40 and the entire domain made $3.44. When you combine the reports in your Adsense stats, you are shown both channels together, however, the channel, rolista.com counts ALL income made by the domain, rolista.com. The sub-domain channel shows the income made by the sub-domain. Although both a shown, you can only count the income from the entire domain. What your stats tell me is that the domain, without including the funnystuff.sub-domain, only made $0.04. With me?
First: you can't select url channels in ad layout screen because that type of channel is automatically tracked. Second: Play has right. funnystuff.rolista.com URL channel is in rolista.com, so your statistic is good. But I want to write something else: look out for adsense terms - you erased CTR and eCPM from your screenshot, but I can easy calculate it - I think you can only tell how much do you earn - numbers without $ combined with number with $ are forbidden.
