i just installed windows vista and everytime i try to open photoshop it tells me to log in on a admin account so i can use the program the thing i am logged in the admin account cuz i'm the only one who uses this pc. any help would be greatly appreciated
From USAToday: "Finally, after much searching, I found the only solution that worked: I got Vista to reveal its hidden Administrator account, which I logged into. Now Photoshop works. So I moved all my stuff and now I log in as Administrator. I'm not supposed to – it's a security risk – but it's that or do without Photoshop." full article: http://www.usatoday.com/tech/columnist/andrewkantor/2007-03-02-vista-problems_N.htm
I've heard of this issue from Paul Boag, not being a Vista owner I can only recommend his remedy, to instal PS through XP.
its really not a security risk once you have a virus scanning program its just another layer of stuff to go thru to use a pc with vista and thanx i did get the help i needed last night but left the thread open incase anyone else on the board needed help
