What can I say....my web designer has just gone travelling for a year and we have a junior we designer starting next week. I run a marketing agency and I am in the deep s**t.

I have made some text changes to my site today and checked my stats on statcounter. I was wondering why I hadnt had any business through my site for about 3 months.....now I know.

On my searches like 'marketing agency derby' and many others we position in the top 3 on, when you click the link there are missing pages or pages from our old site.

I know that you have to redirect these to the new pages, but I dont know how. I also need to know how to get the new relevant page where the old ne is being found.

This is really bad for me and my business. I know very little about building sites, but I need to make the changes as soon as i can. Can someone give me a dummies guide?? As I said, I do a little on the site, like change text and move things around etc, so I am not a complete imbecile.....just a minor one. I would appreciate anyones help on this

    Thanks
    Dean

Those 404 will result in a se position drop so this is no good.
What you could do is put your old site back or rename the new files like the old one.

Or redirect them like you said ( but this is no good for your search engine position ) , you can do this in your cpanel. Just go to yourdomain.com/cpanel .
