Hey guys, i got a "Inquiry By paypal" Dispute in my paypal account for $70, that one of my clients paid me on Nov14 for webhosting. I didnot get any mail regarding this dispute but when i checked into the account today morning, i saw $70 less!!! I am assuming that HE got a dispute/chargeback himself and now paypal wants to dig it from MY account. The dispute Topic doesnt appear us unauthorized transac or anything but just "inquiry by paypal" Status. I had some very important plans with the money and now Its on hold. Can the helpful members here, please tell me what to do in this situation. Say, if i try to resolve the claim by providing a tracking number for a "shipped" item. (obviousl fake), even though Its actually "service" . Will i have a chnce to reclaim my money, since the paypal dispute system is DUMB ? Plz help me asap. Thank you.
Seems like paypal inquiry on your &70 funds. Is there anything they want you to submit under 'Resolution Center' For quick solution just give them a phone call and let them know of everything for this transaction. DON.
I'm in India so making a phone call to US is something which is hard for me to do.. Can anyone please give me their skype Number, and oh, is calling thru skype, free? PS: Or what happens if i just Send them an attachment of the screenshot for the invoice he paid? Would that do? If i call them and tell directly about the situation, is there any chance they will side with me..,coz he had actually used our service.
You can also call paypal free of cost using Gizmo Project. Try to search with this term in google for more information. DON.
Screenshots don't really work with paypal. They always want hard copy of the document. I suggest you fax it over to them.
I will suggest to call up paypal, explain them everything. And regarding the document you have to fax them. Softcopy doesn't works, but better is to fax them.
The free-to-call skype number is +18882211161 , for everyones info. BTW the seller has not Initiated the dispute, i think paypal likes to play with me Damn.
it may have been a fraud transaction and the credit card co will just take the money from paypal then paypal from you, just be glad its not hardware or was only $70 it could have been more, concentrate on creating more business and forget that transaction, dont even think about it, keep working to build your business otherwise this person cost you more than $70 i think he not have 2c so he never had $70 so forget it
Better contact your client before talking to Paypal. I agree to forget about it if the situation becomes worse. I had a similar experience. The good thing is, it was only 30 dollars.
