actually one of my domains accidently got expired and deleted from my account due to non payment. Actually i was too busy with offline stuff and didn't properly manage my online assets.

Now i want the deleted domain back, however its NOT available.
Secondly, WHOIS still shows MY info so clearly no1 else has bought it... rite?

Its not even available in the godaddy auction.... where has it gone?

It was deleted from my account on 8th december 2010 .... was hosted with godaddy

Thanks for the help in advance

Assuming it's registered with godaddy it will def go to an auction.
You can also contact godaddy and ask them to recover it for you.
    Good luck

they will put the domain to auction 7 days before the pending delete period. There is a 42 day redemption or grace period after the expiry in which you can still renew the domain at some extra cost. Most of the registrar have this option but can't say anything about godaddy. You must contact their support asap.

You can buy it back from Go Daddy for a price after the grace period. Then after a certain period beyond that its gone to auction.

If it is with Godaddy they will make you pay $80 to get your domain name back. If you don't, they will sell it to a domain name broker who will in return resell the domain name for +200 bucks

yes, you have to back order the name. If you wait for it deleted from ICANN, it will take a century. And I experienced the domain was taken by other people. So dont take the risk

You can gain the domain from GoDaddy by paying their domain holding fee. You have to contact with them ASAP.
