Hey people , I wanted help for the problem I am facing. I created a new proxy site 3 days before . I just got traffic by linking topsites , proxy directories etc... Now the problem is that in 3 days i recieved approximately 1500 Uniques( which i didn't even expect) ... And the number of uniques are increasing per day like it was around 300 first day , 450 second day and today it is 700+ already (Time zone:IST, GMT+5.30 HRs).I hosted the site on monsterprox.com and bought mini package but since high traffic my nearly 7000 MB Bw has already been used up and monthly limit is 20 GB . What shall i do now??I mean how to tackle this problem?Do you people know any good proxy host with, may be less space but large bandwith?or is there any other way out? Please help me sooon...Please help me before my bandwith gets over... PS:I am expecting my visitors to cross 1 thousand mark by tomorrow!!!So urgent help required.... Thanks!
You should upgrade your hosting plan ASAP. I now using wdservers VPS 1024 plan and so far the quality is good and there is no slow surfing times.
This is something really knotty. On the one hand you need traffic and on the other you do not. Literally, the traffic to be key to pile up online business, therefore, instead of looking this way or that you should submit your links to google adsense. This way when your bw being consumed you shall be getting rewards to buy more. May be some one else can help you out with a better plan. Good luck
If you are satisfied with the services provided by the current hosting company you should ask them for an upgrade in order to get more bandwidth. If they cannot provide you this then look for another hosting.
The main question is if the proxy site makes you money and how much. After figuring that out, the foruma is quite a nobrainer: If it does, get a bandwidth/package upgrade. If it doesn't, close down the site and put your efforts into something else.
