Hi there, a friend of mine has locked himself out of his laptop. Can anyone help resolve this issue please? Thanks. Below are the specs. he was in the bios of his laptop and it went blank on him. he tried to start up his computer and was confronted with this message: He has tried all passwords and nothing. He didn't even have a password for this that he recalls. Any help given will be greatly appreciated.
Open it in safe mode. Also try just putting nothing in as a password (thats what I had on my old computer)
Boot from Acronis Backup CD or something like that and make backup of data on hardisk then format it and reinstall system. Though it won't work probably because he had to screw something in bios. He has probably set some passwords accidentaly. Also try safe mode or if you can get at least to DOS, you can just flash bios...
