Hello Masters One of my client wants me to do SEO for german language website. Till now I have done only english language websites. So now I want to know what kind of work I have to do for this german language website? Find a native speaker you can rely on if you need translations done (dont rely on automated services as content and context often dont match) then depending on business goals, look at local hosting, proper use of TLD, geo-target in Webmaster Tools and look for localised inward links.
this is a dangerous way of doing it as these auto converters often don't correctly translate words. I speak English and French and know that word orders and pairings in French can affect the literal translation compared to the intent. THe same can be said for most languages. German included.
The same thing holds true for all the languages. Automated translation? A language is a system way more complex than a bunch of word-to-word correlations. Even humans sometimes fail to translate correctly. My point is that you will by all means need a person competent with German and translation.
There are forums for multilingual SEO - just search on Google. You can outsource your work to German SEOs rather than you trying to mess it up.
You can use language translators for your work,this will take time but i think it will work for you,or you can find some one who is expert at this service
I suggest you use native german people too. It will be impossible for you to make good keyword reseach if you just try to translate yourself. The native german speaker wil know what words are common among other things.
