Its a class, not a rel... fuhgettaboutit I would check his CSS for something fishy, but "class" doesn't tell the search engine anything. If .donor in the CSS has something like "display:none" or "overflow:hidden" then don't buy it. Otherwise, you're good.
I also agree, class is a tag for the css styling. Probably your link is styled a certain way. Check the page's css file to see what attributes it contains for "donor" class.
If you load the page and see other links with "class=donor" then there's really no point in checking the CSS is there? I mean, obviously it's not display:none. And we know he must be seeing them on the page, coz I doubt the offer is "buy a link with this class!" It sounds good to me, if you can see the link, and it's not javascript -OR- you view google's cache of the page and see the other donor links, then it should be fine.
