    Please help me all the member of DP.
    I have virus in my hard disk 250GB.
    I have copied data from the memory card of mobile in my hard.
    As soon as i copied the data, the virus infected my PC.
    The data is showen in the drive by right click on the drive.
    But I can not see the data.
    I mean , hard disk has the data but i could not see data.
    I have also check the option of see hide file but invain.it didn't worked.
    I am so disturbing.
    Please Help me.
    I need promplt help by you.

    I use AVG its very effective and its Free,hope you get rid of it.

    I use avast and usually it prevents me from being in those situations. Good luck with you data.

    Norton has the best rating of all the security suites avabilable, has rated by pcworld but the second best they mentioned was bit defender which I don't see on your poll.

    I really suggest you to follow these steps before doing anything:

    1-create an image with (acronis true image, ghost...) of your important drives
    2-disable all start-up programs
    3-delete temporary files.. use Ccleaner
    4-install your antivirus whatever will do the work just make sure it's updated

    I've always used this and it's never done me wrong. Will go in and remove your viruses and malware, and if it cannot it will provide you with information on how you can. ;)

    I prefer kaspersky or bitdefender. Imho kaspersky is better at detection, but it's such a resource hog that I ended up disabling it much of the time. Bitdefender is the next best thing. Great with detection, and consumes less resources
