Hello All, I want to make my client site GA report more friendly and meaningful. I just want instead of query-string page names in reports the names should be user friendly. Like for example:- Page query sting URL: /iSynApp/appUserLogin!input.action?sid=23 Page name:- Login Page In the report if it can be seen as "Login Page" then certainly it is more meaningful to my client. How I can do this. Any of Google Analytic master help me on this issue. Thanks, Rock
It can be done using Filters !!! Take a Look http://searchmarketingads.com/blog/2008/07/03/5-must-have-google-analytic-filters/ You will have it in Section 4 in above URL.
Hey Rock, You can use filter in google anlaytics to do that. here are the steps 1. Creat a new profile in GA for the same domain 2. Add filter called search & replace 3. Put search as your original pagename ( dont put http://www etc, just pagename that you see in GA) 4. Put your friendly name in the replace and you are done ! Let me know if it helps ! Thanks, Ravi
