Through posts in DP I came to know that the limit on personal accounts to be able to receive only 5 payments has been removed and now a personal acct holder can receive any no. of payments thru CC. Is that true guys ?? Its urgent because I have used up the 5 receivals and haven't yet been able to get myself verified (some problem with CC company ... am trying to get that resolved asap) . So I fear that the next client who pays will get the money returned if the limit on my acct is still on. I went thru PP rules and user agreement and everything but could not find anything on this topic (but also could not find the mention of the CC limit anywhere)!! what do u guys say??
Yes it is true that paypal terms have been changed in this regards. Now personal account also has to pay a percentage to receive funds...
yes it has feesno doubt for rcvng cc payments .. but i want to know whether the limit that was there on unverified personal accounts of just being allowed to recieve 5 CC payments has been lifted???
Yes it if Lifted .. But You didnt understand .. Fees now apply on all transaction .. Either by Paypal Funds or CC/Bank Account! paypal is now taking fees for all the account whether personal premier or business. You can accept as many cc payment as you want now.
I am not aware of the limit on CC transactions for an unverified personal account has been lifted or not, as rules are not clear on the same. Perhaps you yourself can provide us an answer about the same if and when your sixth such transaction is able to get completed or not! Regards, RightMan
Well it is now verified Personal account user have no limits to use PayPal. You can check your account you will not find View Limits option now. So enjoy it. I already told you yesterday same.
I could not get myself verified as yet .. and that is the whole problem . but I think that I will take RightMan's advice and ask the sixth client whose payment is pending to pay .. I hope that there will be no reversal charges on me or the client if the transaction doesn't go through.... Wot do u ppl think will that incur any charges/penalties if the txn doesn't go thru???
Well if you not verified account holder then you just accept 5 Credit card transition. Once you got 6th, PayPal gives you two option either you cancel that payment ( No charges will apply ) or upgrade your account. So if you return that transition then you buyer will get money back and there will be no reversal charges for card holder!
