Really it makes no sense to keep those hoplinks when they aren't being tracked. I just finished switching over to some other affiliate programs on a couple of sites. Of course, that won't work for sites or landing pages dedicated to a CB product. But at least you need to pause any PPC or other paid advertising until this is resolved.
affiliate=none even though I did a sale on the same product 1 week ago. What the hell? I think Clickbank can suck on my balls after this. No wonder publishers don't experience anything!!! It's us, affiliates, who are always in the deepest crap.
I think we need to start sending support tickets to clickbank about this. I mean most of us should send a support ticket, so that when Clickbank gets so many support tickets, they will take the situation seriously, and will not rule it out as an isolated individual case.
I noticed the following on another forum: You can find the topic here: ht tp://www.clickbanksuccessforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8334
If it is showing up as affiliate = none does that mean that hops are not being accurately tracked also? i'm just curious because my hops are normal but my sales are not
I wouldn't say my sales have been horrible for the past few weeks - i actually had a record day the other day - however on average days have been lower - maybe i'm not affected as hardcore
Not for me, and I'm promoting a lot of different products from different vendors (about 60 sales a day). I don't see a problem in the last couple of weeks. I do however see a problem today. Anyway. problem has been solved:
Well, I am glad the Clickbank tech team got on this and have hopefully resolved the current problem. It does make you wonder how often does this problem occur... Are we constantly losing affiliate commissions at a lower tracking rate?? I am going to continue with Clickbank - I have been making a steadily improving revenue stream from them. But Clickbank needs to keep its system at maximum efficiency!
These are all working for me now, so maybe the problem has been resolved. Who knows how many sales this affected though.
Just a quick note about Clickbank support. I received an email reply stating the problem was corrected, etc. It took about 11 hours for the reply to take place. Which is pretty good turnaround for support messages. Especially as I imagine they had many emails to reply to.
No freaking way! I just checked one of my links and it said "affiliate none". I checked again, and then it had my affiliate name. I'm using FF. This is just ridiculous! We have been sending a crap load of traffic to these sites and who knows how many sales we may have lost!
I think it is not a partial hoplinks disruption. From 10:00 a.m. PT on 2008-11-12 to 7:30 a.m. PT on 2008-11-13 ... is a BIG time.
I agree! and I particularly like this bit Well that's OK, as long as CB and the publishers are not out of pocket!
"however we expect to have those credits posted within the next 48 hours." How they are going to post the credits if they didnt tracked them in the first place? wehhh!
I did check my CB account... and i got sales this month, but the thing is... i already stop my campaign on that particular product last month.
