I had a domain parked at sedo and forgot about it, I recieved an offer today of $150, $15 sedo comission so it'd leave me with $135.. Is www.spiralfrogmusic.com worth more than the offer I recieved of $150. INFO: Spiralfrog.com is a new website debuting in 2007 Q1 offering free music downloads, (www.spiralfrog.com) for more info. What'd yall think.
Depends on your risk aversion level... if you don't care about getting sued for TM infringements you may get more out of it long run by holding it on PPC if this becomes popular. If it doesn't and you just get C&D/UDRP you probably just lost $7. Now you can take $150 now and not worry about the future or gamble it and see what happens. Also trying to sell it could be considered bad faith at UDRP.
It looks like this domain was registered after www.spiralfrog.com and since the domain name itself infringes on the original usage, I wouldn't hold on to it. Any use of this domain is subject to a TM infringement claim and you would certainly lose it if they decided to file a dispute or sue you.
Thanks, didn't really think of the TM issues. I let it go for $135, hopefully the seller will go through with it.
Just though I'd let you all know, the domain sold for $150, I reccieved $135 after sedo's commission, very happy
hope it wasn't spiralfrog.com themselves as the buyer so that they could build a case... just kidding. =) nice quick sale on that one as recommended by everyone
