Hello, i have a joomla 1.5 website and i don't want any community in this... i just want a system that: If a new user registers on a website, the the email id he provides will be checked and a search will be done on the social networking websites like Facebook, orkut, linkedin, flickr. and if an account with the same email id is found on any of these websites, the account will be shown to the user for the confirmation and he will select the account...this is how the account gets verified... and if the account on these websites is not found with the email id he provided, then the first name and the last name he provided will be checked and matches to the name will be shown to the user for his confirmation, and then he will select his account.. This is how we will get the details of user on other websites too... Please guide me urgently, which extensions can i use...??? how is this goal achievable..?? waiting for replies... I don't think there is any extension available for your Job. And I also don't think it is legal to use the information provided by the user and search for his/her social details in other websites using an automated script. But if you really want to do it anyhow, then only solution is to build a custom component for which you will have to hire a professional.
