It's only real attraction is that it's a single word TLD. No page rank or links or anything like that. Is it worth trying to sell or should I just let it fizzle out?
I'd sell it. On that same note, I'm about to auction off ALL of my one-word .me's. They get about one type-in every few months and are nothing more than a liability.
Yeah there's not much point hanging on to it if your not going to develop it. If you don't spend sometime promoting it to sell you'll most likely forget about it and let it fizzle out anyway. That would only prove how easy you find it to waste money registering domains, - Kinda been there done that myself . That been said and done I'd get some of your highest most desirable names and dev/promote them to sell. If you get a few hundred then you can afford to let the others drop or sell at a loss, then your at least on par with your overall profiteering in the domain industry. I just sold a gift related .cc domain on godaddy's auction platform so I'm also in the process of shedding of my portfolio of excess names, even at a loss. As for the (.)me extension I didn't get to involved with it and only registered CumSearch.me as an adult search engine - (I've since had second thoughts about this and have entered it onto sedo's showcase to see if it gets some interest.) Even if you try to sell it, I doubt you will get a buyer offering you good price for it. .me has been a flop since its inception and flippers stay clear of it... completely! Regards, RightMan
