Ups?

    I'm planning on getting a UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) tomorrow and I just want to know if I connect it via USB cable to my computer, will it automatically be able to shut down the computer when I have a X percent or X number of minutes left?

    i don't exactly know what you mean. i don't think we can use usb cable to connect a ups and a computer. we usually use a power supply cable?
