UPS backup in India

    Hi,

    Can anyone suggest a good UPS available in India that provides power backup to a single PC for about 60-90 minutes? How much would such a UPS cost?

    Hmmm 60 to 90 is alot. I am having 3000/- Microtek UPS which hardly provides u 10 min backup. I always feels that if u looking to spend money on UPS, than spend it good. Do not buy local,cheap ups. There battery will burn out realy fast.

    Yeah, I know 60-90 mins is a lot for an average UPS, but power supply is kinda erratic here in my native town.....and was wondering whether any fellow DPers use some powerful UPS.

    Use two Truck Batteries with any 1KVA UPS, it will keep your comp up and running for good 2 hours.

    Try and double battery APC UPS, it would give you 45-60 minutes backup.
