Maybe you know it already. Starting on October 17, Google Chrome will scare your visitors away from you money sites by showing “Not Secure” inside the address bar if you are not using an ssl certificate. Later, not exactly sure when, this “Not Secure” will be displayed in red so nobody can oversee it. - Maybe this will also affect your ranking? - Would like to hear your opinion on this, what are your plans? - Where to get an ssl certificate for a god price? - Or move to a different hosting company where ssl is free? - What else is important to know?
Google is just trying to control more and more of the internet. It is sick. Not every website needs to be encrypted, and stupid Google knows that the NSA can crack HTTPS--which is when Google's idiotic "encrypt everything" movement started. What else is important to know? How Google Chrome will have a built-in ad blocker which will by default block advertisements that Google deems "bad ads". Naturally, Google's own advertisements are considered "good", and everybody should sign up to Google to avoid being blocked by Chrome.
