Hello,

I would like to invite you all to visit a new search engine I have been working on in the past three months: uppersites.com

It is not one of those search engines using feeds from other sites. I build a web crawler to maintain a quality index for this site. There is only about 250,000 pages in the index, so you are welcome to submit your URL or suggest other sites to my spider to crawl using the Add URL form on uppersites.com

 

I recently added a blog search function to uppersites.com, which could be activated by adding blog: in front of the query, but working on a sub-domain based solution to replace it with.

 

There is also a new content filter I just implemented which filters out adult related sites, which could be bypassed by adding adult: in front of the query for those who are specifically looking for adult content on uppersites.com

Please give it a try and let me know about your experiences. As I mentioned the site is still new, so suggestions are welcome!

there is this huge white space at the bottom, just bringing this to your attention, good luck with your site

I know. It's just there to "hide" the 3rd party tracking icon on the right-hand side, but I guess it's silly. So I'm going to remove it and start using Google Analytics instead.
