I have a website with about 25 subdomains on it, all within the same niche. CTR was around 3-5% but I realized that I may be using a tactic against the TOS (ads too close to images) so I did a total revamping of the site, based off of another successful site I've had in the past. Since implementing this change, I am making barely any money, and CTR has dropped to 0.4%. Does anyone else experience this when the create a new site? Should I expect everything to go back to normal eventually?
Your CTR may have dropped but at least you have remoced the risk of being banned. It probably wont go back to how it was, unless you change back to how it was, which is a bad idea.
