upnormal increase in clicks

My AdSense account has witnessed a large increase in clicks today (nearly the double of any normal day).

I've no doubt these are invalid clicks, this is most likely because I re-arranged AdSense in my website, added 2 more content units.

The question is, do I have to contaact AdSense support?

 

i think no need, only need to do is read the adsense rules and regulation. adsense allow only three ads its either text link or contents units.

 

'Double' is not something to worry about, I think.
Most probably your page has shown a new and particularly interesting ad for your niche, for instance an article that matches exactly one of your ads.

Some days I have a CTR of 2%, on other days of 6%. Those figures are bound to fluctuate. They tend to change more on pages that have regularly new content.

 

If you've done some social bookmarking this could explain the increase in traffic/clicks.

 

No do not worry. Only worry if they get mutiple days in a row of huge increases in clicks

 

I think I can have 3 content units and 3 link units in one page.

btw, Google didn't give me the chance to feel joy about this, click price went down to ~0.01. - niche is entertainment.
