the fact that the only content is the headings, from an advert or not, they are static and the only content so it influences the ads that get displayed.

 

100s of proxy sites do it. 10s of hosting sites do it. Speedy share, Rapid Share do it. Non of them get banned. Why cant I do it?? Are you trying to help me? Or are you just being pain in the ***?

At least over there most are qualified buyers (less the noobs and do-gooders).

Thanks bdmunee, I'll look into that. I don't know why most members here try to ruin your sale with their useless comments and the thing is most of them don't have 10 bucks in their PayPal. If you see something that you don't like JUST PM your concerns to the person, don't make a big fuss about it.

 

No offense but the only good thing you have really is the domain and no not even $500. The script you are using is a generic free one and it seems all your visitors come from arabic warez forums, so I wonder what kind of promotion you did there, not to mention you renaming your title page to loans to change what the average earnings would be for such a site.

Im sorry but im sick of people getting ripped off here by such sites.

 

Why is this site a rip off ? I know the domain name is at least $500 because I trade domains. It's a free script anyone can get it . The thing is how can you turn that script into a money making machine that makes 30-50 a day. The forums thing is simple. If I put a link on here for a hot keyword tool for example you like the program you copy the link and post it on sitepoint some people from sitepoint post it on other forums. I'll be making money from people using the site on here, on sitepoint and anywhere the link goes. When people see how easy and fast the website is they upload their files and the cycle get repeated. I don't know what's so hard to understand about that. It's just people like you must find something to argue about and fill posts with useless comments instead of working on getting more credibility on the forum and building their reputation along with other web projects. I don't see why the title bothers you so much. It's an ad for a website that I own. If it increases the revenue so be it. Why would that bother you. ME DON'T KNOW. I'm not really in a rush to sell the site. In fact I'd hate to let it go but I need the money.

 

"MOHLoans.com - Debt Consolidation Loans" is what's getting the site so much revenue

it's like if I made a porn site, but had the title as "help prevent leukemia" it's totally irrelevant

the thing at the top wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't in a heading tag, and was a hyperlink. It'd be like.. well.. a link exchange

but even that (to my knowledge) would be against some sort of google ToS (I think it's the page rank one)


and before anyone says "oh you know nothing about sites, you're a n00b" and all that bullshit

I've been on sitepoint since '04, I've seen lots of people get banned from google (and I've personally been banned from google aswell. It was for having the default search keyword or w/e in the search shit you can put on your site as some high paying google keywords)


I do like the domain, but honestly it isn't worth $9,000
and, if you look at the top buying and selling tips thread one of the tips is to not predict the revenue of the site in the future

I'm sure whoever buys the site wont have all the "Copyright © MOHLoans.com - Debt Consolidation Loans 2007. All rights reserved." crap on it

if someone can afford 9k for the site, I'm sure they don't want to get banned from google, so they wouldn't take the risk


I'm not trying to bash you or your site
I just don't think you'll ever get 9k for it (at this moment in time. If it didn't have all the loan crap to get better paying ads and it was still gaining this sort of revenue then I'm sure it'd be worth it)
