Uploading YouTube Videos from AVI Files

    I was just wondering what software(program) is the best for converting files to youtube videos. What do you guys use here? I have several AVI files that need to be converted to fit for youtube. Thanks for your help!

    What do you mean? AVIs can be uploaded to youtube.

    Unless you are talking about file size? ive found running files through movie maker is a good compression tool, as you can set your own file size.

    Well I just downloaded a big torrent file about 3.5 GB. There are AVI files inside. The AVI's are going to be uploaded on my website, so I need the embedded link. I can use YouTube for this, but if there is a faster way to do this, please let me know.

    Definitely use Youtube for that -- remember, streaming files hosted on your server eat up your bandwidth. Unless you've got a dedicated server, stick to using Youtube for video hosting.

    Plus, Youtube has the feature of bulk uploading.

    youtube also supports avi files, upload them all to youtube server :D
