Uploading Funds To moneybookers Acc From India

    Hi All
    Can Any Fellow members Help me with info on uploading funds to Moneybookers Account using wire transfer.
    List of banks allowing fund transfer to moneybookers account from India would also help as my precent bank does not have option for the same.

    You need SWIFT CODE of bank to upload funds to moneybookers.
    ICICI, HDFC, AXIS, IDBI, SBI, PNB Support it.

    I had called up my phone banker in HDFC Bank. She was surprised to hear about wire transfer..............she said she has never heard such a thing and said couldnt help me. lol
    so i plan to visit a branch next week. will update you about it.

    Dev have u actually Deposited into moneybookers?

    Any other Indians who have actually made a deposit from an Indian Bank,
    Indian cc/dc dont work either

    I had done this once to my money bookers account it will work, wire transfer will be done in main branches ( City based branches ) of ICICI I had done at Chennai it worked fine for me, the wire transfer process is complicated in India, you need to submit lot of information via documents, etc but it is possible via ICICI ( which i tried). Also several other occasions ( other than moneybookers) I had successfully wire transferred to banks in US from India, the thing is you need to provide enough details ( bills, invoice etc) to transfer the money.

    I dont know about Indian bank to Moneybookers transfer, i dont have account in Indian bank.

    You need :
    An application for wire transfer.
    Your photo id.
    Wire transfer takes hassle though.
    After uploading funds, you can see money on your account, and can spend whenever you need.
    Its totally safe.
    It will be better if you have verified your address.

    thanks for the info Guys
    just one more query can we use one of these vcc like the one HDFC offers for funding the account at MB(just to avoid all the hassels of wire transfer)

    there are many ways ..to Get Fund in Moneybooker .. Can look for the private Exchanger >> who accpet ur other currency and Exchange it to mOney booker
