Uploading Files On Ipswich Ws Ftp / Needed Help

    Hello everyone,
    i have recently installed a trial version of ipswich ftp software?

    i can connect to my web site with no problem however when i try to upload files from my computer to the server it doeas not allow me to do so and the following happens;

    under information window it says connecting then after a while pausing ... retrying then dead connection..
    do you know if i am doing something wrong or some other reason might cause this.

    Please advice if you have time.

    Are you able to connect using another ftp program? The problem may have nothing to do with ws_ftp at all, but rather your ftp account and server software.

    Or maybe a firewall?

    You may have to set WS_FTP to use passive transfer.
