Uploading.com + Sharecash.org - Address Needed..Why?

i was about to sign up to both sharecash.org and uploading.com to give it a go, after using hotfile for the past month (and earning a decent amount) i thought id try out some other options

however,both sharecash and uploading asked me for my address and postcode

just wondering why they need/want this information as hotfile or any other filesharing site dont ask for this

what will they do with this information?

also,would i be able to give a fake adress?

they asked you for adress and postal code to send you the check in case you select Check payment method

i just realised sharecash is the site where you have to 'complete a survey' to get the link

Just to add to that, I;m sure Taxes and reporting income to the government is also a reason.

 

Just put your address to it, they wont scam you or anything lol
