    Hi,

I have recently uploaded funds in my freelancer account via PayPal to pay someone and freelancer.com suspended my account. Now They don't seem to re-activate it.

Can I win if I file a dispute against them via PayPal??

    Please advise.

    Thanks a lot in advance

You are not covered because you made a purchase of a service, even though you are just making a transfer to your own accounts. Figure out why Freelancer suspended your account and try to work it out with them, if they are unresponsive then dispute the transaction and explain to PayPal the situation, you better off calling them too.

PayPal sided with me... I am getting my money back :) I hate freelancer. They tried to trick me by giving useless reasons for NOT returning the money. They asked for unnecessary verifications so that they can pass the time and I won't be able to dispute the payment afterwards. I told them that I'll file a dispute if they do not return the money. But they ignored it. Then I filed the dispute.

Moreover, after they have seen that I have filed the dispute with PayPal, they asked me to CANCEL the claim, so that they can properly return the money after that. Another trick; I won't be able to file the dispute again if they refused to pay after cancelling the claim. Why shouldn't they returned the money before, when they can do it NOW after the dispute has been filed. Freelancer sucks  Scammers!

My friend had uploaded funds there for me from his account. There is no restriction on this by freelancer officially.

Mostly on these digital services or item the payapl will take the side of buyer because seller dont ahve the proof that he has sended to provided the buyer with the service and item .
