    go to http://www.net2ftp.com log into your site.. and check the file you want to unzip on your site - and click the button.. unzip.. it has worked for over 10 years..

    You want the Client, not the server!

    cpanel will work fine as well just log into your root folder or public_html and click the upload button to upload it and click the extract button to unzip it.

    No need for php scripts, no need to learn CLI.

    There is an option in cPanel file manager to unzip files and it is quite simple.

    Hello,

    As you are using cPanel you can simply navigate too the file manager interface, selected the zipped folder & then select 'unzip'. It's quick and simple enough for most :)

    If you are moving your site from one host to another host. Then zip the files is not a good way. It damage the files. The best way to download your files via ftp and then upload it to new host.
    If you need any help then i can do this for you with a small price. PM me about your website. That its wordpress or what?
