I'm not sure! BUT i think google banned one of my sites because i have translated web pages. I dont use on the fly translation. I use a desktop translator to translate my text and then upload to server. k, but translated text is not perfect, and some sentences are hard to read, some does not make sense at all. I guess google has some king of algorithm and considered my translated pages trash... and guess what... google was right So... be careful about that...
Well the other thread about it seemed it was quite good. I am not bothered about getting banned as I just want some good translate code to translate websites and translate Azoogle ads.
Babelfish translated pages are the most useless content items ever - I would stay well clear of them. They can help a non-native speaker with some basic grammar / vocabulary but the overall context is usually lost. Unless it is translated by a native speaker and NOT a program, stay clear of it. Rant over.. *phew*
